Planks are amazing for our core and this is an exercise that I could barely do when I started out. I was lucky to get to 20 seconds, and now think I could almost smash 2 minutes! Small and steady enhancements from my previous accomplishments have helped make this happen, along with ensuring I continue to have the right technique 🙂

Have definitely had my love for netball reignited after a really great match last night. We lost but our team never gave up and even though we all love to win, we were really happy for the others as it was a great match.
Thanks to the other team, especially Erin, you are such a gun player and get my vote for B&F. It was a pleasure playing with you.
Wish we could do two rounds playing all teams before finals as once isn’t enough. 🙂

Another day getting Red Faced and remaining accountable. When you actually do what you tell yourself you are going to do, you gain power over your ego. If I had a dollar for every time I told myself I was going to get up early and exercise in the morning, but then didn’t, I would be sipping cocktails in the Maldives Right now. (Hahah) My ego’s favourite excuses included: ‘it’s too cold,’ or ‘you deserve a sleep-in,’ or ‘I’ll exercise this afternoon’. This was self-sabotage every single time. If you want to improve yourself in any way, start being reliable to yourself by doing what you say you are going to do 🙂
Best way to reach the big 1.5.0 and start the day right with these amazing girls trying out F45 for the first time. Wow! Loving life right now. Xx
Quick run around the block to fit in the daily red face, yes this is real time tonight. I had such a busy day, but no excuses, get my heart pumping until my face turns red. It can literally be as little as 5 minutes a day. I’ve got a big cardio session first thing in the morning: my first go at F45. Let’s do this. Guess I better sleep now.
Finally getting my butt organised and getting to my PT sessions on TIME! All those that know me, know I get 70 seconds out of every minute and this makes me late ALL THE TIME!
Great PT session this morning, the best way to start the day. Loving the results from my hard work and dedication.
Posting for yesterday: We had the first frost of the year and I planned a sleep-in so that was awesome.
I’m not a big fan of the colder weather, but we definitely need some more rain so hopefully it’s a wet Winter.
Completed a treadmill run to get red faced… and ready for another PT session this morning.
Another PT session today… sooo many push ups that I think my arms may be sore tomorrow. We will see!
Cannot believe how enjoyable ‘doing weights’ is; it’s so easy to see improvements to stay motivated.
If you are like me and can admit that you don’t push yourself as hard on your own, then an investment in a PT session even once a week can really amplify your performance and help you reach your goals sooner.
Mixed netball and mini gym session tonight… fun!
It’s awesome hanging around like minded people. Everyone else that is doing something to get fit is respectful of others doing the same thing. It’s a great environment and fitness is so fun. It all starts with 5 minutes a day.
The pic is a little fuzzy… that’s what happens when you don’t check it’s ok before jumping in the shower.
2 hours at the gym… love, love, love! Keen for new beginnings EVERY DAY!
